- The 192 pages contain information on pioneers, the stores, industries, schools, churches, and organizations in the village of Alton. There is also information and photos of sport teams, bands, school children, veterans, anniversaries, and other items.
Included are histories of homes and farms, including Centennial Farms.
The history of the Village of Cataract is also provided.
