- Clue # 6: Have fun with your inner child.
No Spring Chickens, Fiona, Mairi, Andrea and Teresa embraced their inner child by taking their picture at the local park behind where our WI meets. With the help of our local library staff and adult children we believe the author of the quote is Theodor Geisel (Dr. Seuss). We chose the book Green Eggs and Ham because Sam perseveres until he reaches his goal of having the Cat in The Hat eat and love green eggs and ham.
Our Scavenger Hunt Shenanigans
A team we made. With feathers bright. Fiona, Mairi, Andrea, Teresa, taking flight. With a cluckerydoo and mugledemall. We found a hall. We built a bus. We painted rocks. What a fuss. We bought tea. We had a talk. We carved pumpkins, pligitypun. And with this poem. We are done.
No Spring Chickens are strutting off to the hen house to keep warm for the Winter.
