Description
It was a beautiful but very windy day on the shores of Lake Huron. We each bought our pumpkins at our favourite farm. Ellen Waye had to buy 2 at different times as the first one was eaten by the neighbourhood black squirrel. We gathered at the home of Helen Orr and craved the pumpkins at her kitchen table. We knew there would be some guests arriving for treats all dressed up in costumes.
In the picutre, left to right are Kate and Evie (Sandra's great neices) Helen Orr, Sandra MacDonald, Ellen Waye, and Emmett (Sandra's great nephew) Emmett was trying to stab the jack-o-lantern. Our fourth member, Rose Weir was unable to join us because of illness. It was a fun afternoon.
