- Instead of our Team going out to one of our favorite locations to complete this challenge we decided to open it up to the entire Cherry Valley WI team so they can see how much fun we are having. We took our September meeting to Coaches Pub where we all enjoyed tasty food while having our meeting. We picked a young girl with two young children and bought her a drink. While waiting for the drink to arrive we told her the story about the team wide scavenger hunt and how much fun we were having. This young lady had heard of the WI but didn't know much about it. We shared a few projects we have been working on and shared some people who we recently donated to. She accepted the book mark and agreed on a picture (as long as it stayed off social media)
This lady watched us closely while we recited out Ode, said grace and ended in the Mary Stewart Collection. She went out of her way to say goodbye to the team when she left. The entire Cherry Valley team was so excited to be able to take part and treat ourselves to a lovely meal/drink. we were grateful to share this random act of kindness with our entire team as we all live for kindness and that once simple act of kindness can change someone's entire day. - Notes
