- Our WI met for beverage after a golf game and asked a few other ladies to join us to learn more about WI.
We let them know that we are a local group within the community. We mentioned the Lyme Disease information meeting that we ran before COVID. Currently we participate in a class at the local fair and also sponsor a class at the fair for young cooks. We donate the prize for the winner of this group.
We will also be supporting other local projects that other WI's do, such as the Craft Show in October and a Valentines Tea in February.
The ladies were very interested in our endeavours and we hope that they will attend the local events sponsored by WI. We than presented the ladies with the WI bookmarks and everyone went home.
