Faced with this latest clue, we thought what better place to carry it out then at a local bookstore coffee shop that offers a networking event for newcomers to Paris. Three of us are newcomers to Paris so we appreciate the delight in learning about what's happening in our hood and getting to know others in our community.

So off the four of us went to the Dog-Eared Cafe’s “Parisite Night” (a name lovingly given to those new to Paris). There we had the pleasure of meeting Gabbie, buying her a drink and engaging her in a discussion about the Women's Institute. She was a keen listener and eager participant in our challenge. It is easy to talk with passion and enthusiasm about the Paris branch of the Women’s Institute, the good work that we do in the community, the fun that we have and the support that we offer each other. Gabbie (centre in the photo) expressed her gratitude for helping to make her feel welcome and said she would be interested in attending our Bring a Friend meeting in September.

The Paris Women Just Wanna Have Fun team would like to thank the Scavenger Hunt organizing committee for instigating this outing. Without it we never would have discovered Parisite Night and the new friends we met there. We had a blast, spread the word about WI and expanded our community at the same time. Win, win, win!
