Friends gathered; ideas flared!
Rocks were sorted and prepared.
Paints were found and napkins too
Podge abounds. Now what do we do?
Would seasons work? Could that be our theme?
Each of us mod-podged a rock for the team!
Where should we hide them? Who is our guest?
Our friends at the nursing home would enjoy the quest.
Winter, spring, summer, fall
Some rocks big
Some rocks small
A fun time was had by all!
Our team “Hot to Trot-hers”, Gwen Catherwood, Heather Stinson, Darlene Harding and Marilyn King are pictured behind the stones we crafted for our third challenge of WISH. I learned this technique “Decoupage on Rocks” at a WI Conference many years ago. We were all having so much fun that we made a few extra stones to take home with us. The residents of our local nursing home enjoyed the challenge of finding our hidden treasures in their planters and flower beds. - Notes
