Roses of Crown Hill Clue #3

The Berry Merry Summer Solstice The Crown Hill Women's Institute met in a circle to welcome the coming summer solstice in one of the local gardens. Exclamations of joy and happy thoughts abounded between bites of strawberry dessert and raspberry tea. Set aside were lock down periods, illnesses, loss - well you know the rest. Surprises took the cake right out their mouths and smile gave way to the next luscious bite. The joy of being together. Going out to pick berries. Seeing new blossoms. Sniping the first rose. Sharing news and community events. Good-bye came to soon. Never mind that arriving home in their own gardens, there were surprises. Rocks sprouting colour and theme no one could mistake. The joy and life of the season and nature never stop giving. We're Back! Submitted by Liz, Patricia, Christine & Janice
