By Barb Foster
For a short time when I was very young, 3 or 4 years old, we lived in Cressy, South Marysburgh twp, Prince Edward County, where my father was a cheese maker.
It was a wonderful place to group up along the Bay of Quinte in Prinyers Cove.
I recall many happy days spent on a tire swing, hanging from a large maple tree in front of the cheese factor, eating fresh curd out of the huge ‘vat’, throwing fresh curd to the farmer’s geese as they swam past our home.
Taking a trip down memory lane a few years ago, to remember such happy times growing up in the County, we found this rock being washed by the waves along the shore.. It was in the shape of a heart, which expressed exactly how I felt recalling a most happy time.
