Well-being Ideal Share Health

The theme for the Mighty Four Lobo Lassies is W I S H. We WISH for the Well-being of everyone in an Ideal world where we Share with others in our community and everybody has good Health and a great future. Each member of our team painted one of these words on their stone along with decorations that went along with their word.

Well-being stone: Well-being means wellness and a good quality of life. Well-being is the ultimate goal for any person. It is a combination of feeling good, functioning well, experiencing positive emotions and having control over one's life so that it has a sense of purpose.
The person who will receive this stone has had a number of health issues over the last few years. She also became depressed after the death of her husband and didn't want to do anything or go anywhere. It is hoped that by giving her this stone it will give her a feeling of well-being. This stone has a sun that makes people feel good, a rainbow that brings hope, a heart to know that she is loved and the word friend to know that she has a friends that cares for her. Hopefully when she looks at this stone she will think about its qualities and how they can make her feel that life is still worthwhile.

Ideal stone: The person that painted this stone was inspired by the Ukrainian refugees coming to Canada from their war torn country.
The stone, with Ukrainian colours, shows what a lovely country Canada is with its Canada flag, clear water with a boat, beautiful flowers and a smiling sunshine. It represents the love which so many people here are showing to Ukraine by reaching out and hosting these families. Even though many will want to go back someday, for others there maybe nothing to go back to. They will always be welcome here.

Share stone: This stone with its beautiful flowers will be shared with special friends. Through the years they have shared many holidays, and have shared a love for music and singing. They sang in a choir together for around 30 years. They have shared many meals followed by cards or board games.
Through the years they have shared through their joys and sorrows. It is more joyful to share joy than enjoy it alone.

Health stone: This stone represents the health aspect of our theme. Achieving and maintaining optimal health is certainly a priority for everyone. The pandemic elevated the importance of good health practices as illustrated on this stone i.e. hand washing, exercising, monitoring heart health and masking when requiring to do so.
This stone will be hidden on a neighbour's front porch. Being a cancer survivor she exemplifies good health initiatives and she will be delighted by this token of support and recognition.
