For Home, Country, and an All-inclusive World

Let Everyone Gather Often, the building blocks for WI
Inclusiveness for all, we will always try.

Our gatherings are held where our Anishinabe roots stand,
We show gratitude with red, white, black, and yellow to mark the land.

The scenes represent past, present, and future in picturesque ideal,
They represent frozen moments with people and events that are real.

SCENE 1 Past
In 1897 with our united voice, rural women with passion, purpose and friendship, the roots took place.
Amongst the political issues was to legislate the pasteurization of cow’s milk for health and grace.

SCENE 2 Present
We offer gatherings, workshops, guest speakers that we boast,
The monthly luncheons we host are valued by our community the most.

SCENE 3 Present
We are committed to supporting worldwide issues with continuity,
We exemplified this with current symbols of Ukraine and Canadian unity.

SCENE 4 Future
The woman will stay, the children will play, the community comes together.
We’ll gather around, our voices resound, the WI forever.

From this centre, we reach out to our community and beyond.
The circle extends for all people to correspond.
