- Rural Roots:
The start of our W.I. was at an apple orchard on York Road which became Highway #2. A gathering of women and some men came out of meet and socialize and learn new skills relevant to people living in rural areas.
We are showing a farm scene with a house, barn and a tractor because that's where our W.I. started.
The farm house is under construction and when finished will be a two storey building.
Team Members (right to left) are Freda Workman, Tootie Seymour, Sharon French and Shirley Young. The "build" took place on the Team Captain's dining room table. - Notes
