Sparrow Lake WI Celebrates 100th Anniversary The Members of Sparrow Lake WI (Simcoe East District, Simcoe Area) had lots to keep them busy with in 2017, including the celebration of their Branch's 100th Anniversary! In August, the Branch served tea and held an old style fashion show. They also released 5 butterflies for Muskoka Hospice. Later in the year, they held a party where they prepared donations for the Muskoka Shoebox Project. The project collects and distributes gifts in the form of shoeboxes to women who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness in the community. Each shoebox is filled with items that any woman is likely to enjoy, but may not splurge on for herself in difficult times. Sparrow Lake WI wrapped and donated 15 boxes to the Muskoka Shoebox Project, which will go to local women's shelters.
