Browns Happy Hunters took a drive over to Tavistock, about 15 miles away on Feb 24th 2022. We had a delicious lunch at Quehl's restaurant, made all the more enjoyable since we have not been in a sit down restaurant for lunch in a very long time. We had a nice time getting acquainted and re-acquainted. Then we drove over the the Fair Ground gates for our photo op. I had purchased a selfie stick to take these pictures with, but the results decidedly show I need a lot more practice with this device. The wind was not helping the situation either! We are looking forward to clue # 2, and our next day out together!

- The gates to the Tavistock, Ontario Fair Grounds were erected in 1925 by the local Women's Institute. They have been a local landmark ever since. The gates were falling into disrepair so about 10 years ago, but were carefully restored to their original condition and look wonderful. See further information below.
