Description
A women's institute plaque is located in the Tamworth, Ontario library. Tamworth is located in the Lennox and Addington County. Tamworth is located 35mins from Kingston, 20mins from Napanee, approximately 1.5hrs from Ottawa and 2.5hrs from Toronto. The plaque was issued for the 60th anniversary of the Women's Institute in Tamworth - dating 1921-1981 as the photo states. It was presented by Bill Vankoughnet M.P. on Nov., 9th, 1980. The plaque is sitting on the top shelf in the back of library in a glass case. Attached to the glass case was a poem titled:

A Tribute To Women

The Population of the World
A Women Did help to begin it.
So there should Not be a Hall of Fame
Without a Women in it.
She is next to Heaven, inside of Her
The beginning of the Soul is laid.
Inside of a Woman the Population
Of the World is made.
