- Since 2019 Brighton municipality has agreed to our request that the WI flag be flown outside the municipal building during the week of February 19th. This has not only been good publicity for WI but reflects the excellent relationship our groups, Community York Road and Codrington, have had over the years with our township. We are grateful for this and hope it continues to thrive in the future. We feel that this strengthens our sense of citizenship and commitment to our neighbourhood.
