Secretary Alice Ritchie gave the minutes and it was decided that two or three ladies would go to the rally in Underwood. Joan Murray and Andrea Feeley brought lovely gifts for the silent auction in Underwood. Gladys Johnston gave a report on the fall fair display and June Gilchrist reported on the Lions din-- ner that was catered to by the WI. June also gave a very interesting report on the convention she recent-- ly attended. --Roely gave a humorous reading as she has an October birthday. The rollcall, how 4--H has been an asset to our community, was answered by 11 members and one guest. June introduced her grand-- daughter Jessie Gilchrist who has Joan Murray was in charge of the program and had some draws for the lovely Christmas table ornaments. A very meaning-- ful Christmas reading was given by Donna Sutton, followed by Joan conducting a carol sing with Anne Pritchard on the piano. Joan had two Christmas contests that had every-- one using their thinking caps and giving away more prizes. Acres of Dreamworks was read by Roberta. June's contest, Parts of the Body, was won by Linda Campbell. June also read The Aging Game. Guest speaker was Linda Campbell, a certified reflexologist and deep muscle therapist. She explained how she got started using her hands for deep muscle massage and how many parts of the body require special treatment. Linda told how reflexology and manual lymphatic drainage work to heal many different areas and con-- ditions. She answered many questions relating to falls, pulled muscles, arthritic conditions, etc. Kathy Gibson gave the courtesies and the meeting closing with 0 Canada. been in 4--H since she was 12.
