It was the annual pot luck supper; corn and pie being the-highlights. , Everyone was pleased to have Mrs. Beauregard of the Centre Grey District as guest. A bountiful supper was en- joyed by all. Mrs. John Klages had the marked serviette and Dorothy Acton the lucky chair. The president, Mrs. Falkingham, welcomed all present and opened the meeting with The Ode and Mary Stewart Collect. After a period of business Mrs. Beaureguard addressed the group; she read a poem "The Truth," and went on to give facts dealing with international relationships stating that worldwide unity _ was never so much needed as at the present time with Europe preparing new regulations and controls in many lines which we will see by 1980. She closed with a poem "Touching Shoulders With You." Mrs. Falkingham presented Mrs. Beaureguard with a gift as a token of [ pleasure in her visit. ' Roll call, An Old School Book or Picture, proved interesting. Mrs. Fizell gave a Scottish reading, "Grannie's Auld Bonnett." Mrs. Jackson conducted a [ contest, won by Laura Robinson. Mrs. John Klages gave, several piano selections, and Mrs. Falkingham read "Uncle Ozzie's philosophy." Mrs. Falkingham invited the group to her home for the October meeting.
