FARM HOME OF "HERMAN BAHM" . LOTS 14 & 15 -- CONCESSION 19 TOWNSHIP OF MCNAB -- RENFREW COUNTY -- 200 ACRES The first owner was Octab Carron then his son Timothy Carron. In 1919 William Bahm bought the farm and came here to live with his wife and 7 children, namely Joe, Bert, Herman, Wesley, Charlie, Alfred and one girl Lorinda. The present home was built in 1921. Herman and his wife, the former Edna Rutlege bought the farm in 1936. They have six children, Rhoddie, Willard, Lucille, Catherine, Lois and Robert. In 1943 they built a new woodshed, garage and also drilled a well. Herman in later years severed one hundred acres for his son, Rhoddie, built on this property and in a short time moved away. Herman andg Edna continued to farm until 1970 and retired to Arnprior. In about 1975 the Cameron brothers bought this farm and sold the house and lot to Mike Donnelly. The house burned a few years later and was replaced by a prefab home. Donnelly then sold to Bob Mullen. ' Herman sold the farm to Harry Powers. In about 1975 Loyd Cameron bought the farm, Harry kept the house and an acre lot. Mike Donnelly bought the house and a few years later the house burned and was replaced by a prefab home. Donnelly sold to Bob and Leanne Mullen and in 1985 Phern Mondor and his wife Brenda bought the house.
