HORTON AND MCNAB _ LODCES This meeting was @4 memorial one for Sand Point lodge as the district meeting for Horton and McNab lodges was called for that date in their lodge room. As space was not great enough to accommodate both meetings the Orange men secured the Baptist Church across the road for their meeting. After both meetings concluded all gathered in the Orange hall to do justice to a fine supper prepared by the ladies . saND POINT ORANGE LADIES MARK FIFTEENTH ANNIVERSARY The 15th Anniversary of the Ladies' LOBA was celebrated at the regular lodge meeting on June 12 with members from Douglas, Renfrew and Braeside lodges in attendance. : W.M. Sister Ethel Jahn presided and welcomed the visitors. Minutes of previous - meeting were read by M.S. Mrs. Ellen Bahm. At this meeting seven new members yere welcomed into this lodge. | Honorary membership certificates and pins were presented to Sisters Nellie . Ssommerville, Janet Storie, Lavina Dewar, on behalf of the lodge. Ssister Janet Storie gave a short talk on the Queen Mother's visit to Canada. Refreshmefits were served at the close of the meeting. R.W. Sister Amy Smith, Honorary member of Provincial Grand Lodge of Ontario East was asked to cut the birthday cake. Members of the visiting lodges extended greetings and congratulations. On June 13, the Sand Point Orange Ladies had their 20th anniversary with Miss Chapman back to visit with them and blow out the candles on the birthday cake while W.M. Norma Dewar cut it. Visitors from Braeside and Renfrew were in attendance. ~
