The . , _ t . . . Lakeside 1908. My grandfather Daniel Earl Wilson was born just outside of Strathrgy in the village of Lobo, Ontario In 1889. At age 15 he commuted by train to London Ont. and schooled in The Canadian Pacif1c Telegraph classes offered at the Canadian Pacific Railway Station in the city. Upon completion, he was assigned to the St. Marys C.P. station in 1908. He worked as a clerk under the tutelage of Mr. Orme R. Burns, station master at that tlme. Within that same year he was transferred to the station in Lakeside Ontario as permanent agent. Five years later he married a lady of the district by the name of Ida Sophia Clark, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Jas. & Barbara (nee Swanson) Clark.
