LO - ' , i L", ‘ [ " L tll', B A Due to the illness and moving to Toronto of’the first Curator Hrs†Lowell Brown, Mrs. William Williamson was appOinted temporary Curator until the annual meeting in April 1970 when Mrs. Williamson was officially elected Curator. Members of her committee are Hrs. Kenneth Wood, already in office and two new members, Hrs. Leslie Jacob and [TIrs. George Brazier. Hrs. Williamson, eldest daughter of Br. George Clarke was born on November 24th, l9l2 on the family farm Lot 23, Concession 10. In 1937 Elsie Cynthia Margaret Clarke was married to Mr. William Wallace Williamson and moved to the Williamson homestead farm Lat 25, Concession 10. Two sons were born, Wallace and Murray. They were victims of accidents in 1952 and 1960. Mrs. Williamson attended Brownsville Publice and Continuation Schools and afterwards continued in the - role of mosic, receiving her /).Tr'c,rc(Asssscociaree Toronto Conservatory sci" of Fiusicr), She taught music for a number of years both before and after her marriage. Hrs. Williamson is a member of Brownsville Baptist Church, holding up to the position of organist at age 16 yrs. and continuing up to the present timea She has also served as Sunday School Teacher For many years and other offices as welli She Was also organist far the United Church, figs years prior to hex marriages, Hrso Williamson has been a member of theHomens“ lnstitude since its organization and has held a varzety of offices as well as being 4mH Girls Homemaking Club leader for 3 several coursese.
