Absent. 1st V Janet Uren. * Oxford District‘s Women‘s Institute met recently at Brown‘s A : o0 5 School in North Oxford President Sheila Greason chaired the meeting with the theme on Nutrition Today. 7 Guest speaker Faye Telfer, a registered dictitian at St. Marys j hospital, gave an informative talk on what we should be eating â€"today. She stressed variety, fibre and reduction of salt in our s â€"diets. Printed as well as oral reports were given with 8,362 volunâ€" 4 c teer hours being noted. Fourteen new members have joined this : year across the county. C s Many plans for the 100th anniversary are being made. A cookâ€" x book with recipes from present, former and deceased members s YA _ I is being planned. A banquet with special guests and entertainâ€" m ‘ ment is also being planned for June 2003 at the Elm Hurst in § 7 £ Ingersoll. The meeting concluded with election and installation ‘A.?
