Newlyâ€"found book goes bhack to schoo! She found a book from 1945 decoâ€" rated with many tiny pictures drawn on it by school teacher Cora McKay Roth. "The register is in excellent conâ€" dition," said Gardhouse who is takâ€" ing part in the slow process of miâ€" crofilming all the registers from the 1800s onward. "One picture that caught my eye was one drawn on Vâ€"E Day of three flags," said Gardhouse. "She was very artistically inâ€" clined," said McKay‘s niece Marâ€" ion Wilks. "She was talented in calâ€" ligraphy but never became a serious artist," said Wilks. Roth was a twin and had seven siblings, said Wilks. She was born on July 11, 1915 and lived on Lot 9 3â€"The Daily Sentinel-RevieM OUR OXFORD Anniversary celebration Concession 8 in the former Townâ€" ship of West Zorra near the comâ€" munity of Golspie. Over the years Roth taught in many oneâ€"TOOMm classâ€" rooms in the Zorra area. She began in Holiday, a small community not far from Embro, and then moved on to the Dyers 10th Line School, Braemar, _ Embro Centennial School and finally at Victory Meâ€" morial School in Ingersoll.
