The cider press I was used by one of Jordan's pioneer settlers, the Fry family. 's Cairngorlynn's Ruffie's Rufus, bred and handled by Margaret McClory of Beamsville, is shown winning the Open Dog class at the Cairn Terrier Club of Canada National Specialty Show in 1986. However, Rufus wasn't satisfied with just one rosette, and went on to win the entire show, taking Best of Breed over 62 of Canada's finest cairns, including 20 champions'. The judge was Willie McCulloch of West Kilbride, Scotland, past president of the Cairn Terrier Club of Great Britain. Rufus is now a Canadian Champion. l
