A Memoriam On April 184, 2005, Grace Mildred Jarvis 4 passed away at Albright Manor where she resided since l March 1996; and where Grace and her husband Frank ( founded the "Friends of Albright". Born in Ashford, Kent, England on April 9, 1909, Grace was the second _ daughter of Alfred and Daisy Bingham. She attended Newtown School, a school built to accommodate the workers of the enlarging Railway Works where Alfred worked in the coachworks. Grace is the last of her family and realized a greater age than all of them having just celebrated her 96 birthday. | Grace married Frank Jarvis, October 7, 1933 and | they celebrated their 634 anniversary before he passed away, May 26, 1997. during World War II, they both served in Civil Defence with Grace continuing after ' Frank joined the R.A.F. (1941 ~ 1945). In March 1951, Grace, Frank and daughter ‘ Patricia came to Canada and settled in the Woodstock area and attended Old St. Paul‘s Church there. Grace and Frank have attended St. Alban‘s Church since coming to this area in 1975. i Grace was a Life Member of the Women‘s | Institute, having joined in Bethersden, Kent, England in ] February 1936 and continuing in Canada.
