TWEEDSMUIR HISTORY CURATOR‘S REPORT, 1987 SYDENHAM WOMEN‘S INSTITUTE Our efforts this year have focussed on updating the contents of our * _‘ large format Tweedsmuir History book, so that it can be closed and indexed. . ‘ The local churches and high school are helping us to complet® their historical records to 1985, and we are looking back at a veariety of interesting W.I. branch activities in bringing that account up to date. ' At our meeting in October members answered the roll call by describing & feature which they enjoyed about their home. &A slide show was presented of old houses in Britain built in a variety of materials and styles which would have been familiar to our early pioneers« The Tweedsmuir History books and Loughborough collection of slides with taped commentary were displayed at the Sydenham Branch Library Open House during Library Week.
