Dorothy Naples and her husband Sam have lived in Port Perry since 1944., She has taken an active part in community activities as well as being a faithful member of the Catholic Church, In 1952 she became the first President of the Catholic Women‘s League, At present (1971) Dorothy is President of the Louise Patterson Handicraft Guild and a Charter member of â€" the same. The Honeydale Women‘s Institute is happy to have her as lst Viceâ€"President, a member of which she has been for ten years, Our newly formed Historical Society claims her as a Charter member. § . In addition to the ordinary needlework most women do, Dorothy excels in weaving, leathercraft, rug hooking, etc. At the local Fall Fairs as well as the Canadian National Exhibition she captures prizes for her culinary art, preserves and handiâ€" crafts of all kinds. Port Perry is proud of the honour Dorothy has brought to our Town. ;
