A float was entered in the Centennial Parade receiving 2nd prize. It was decided to separate the offices of Secretary and Treasurer. Mrs. Roame was elected Secretary and Mrs. Coltman as Treasurer. Members were requested to act as guards of Antiques at the Masonic Temple. Bedroom display was entered at the Fair. $30.00 was realized from prizes. A collection Plate made from Canadian Maple by Stewart Kilbank was sent to England. A Book on Feather Sitichery was received. It was decided to place the old minute books in the Safe at the Masoni Temple. They were . later removed and placed in the Agriculture Building. 1960 â€" 1961 President â€" Mrs. Maurice Bulman Secretary â€" Mrs. Rome Treasurer â€" Mrs. Coltman Ten dollars was donated to Scout Auxiliary to send John Freeman to Scout Jamboree at Colorade Springs. Food Basket donated for Trenton Hospital Festival. Bus trip to Niagara and Midland. Bed Jackets and gifts presented to Golden Plough Lodge. A food hamper and donation of money given to a bereaved family. Two subscriptions to the Family Herald were sent to Devon and Community received a book entitled "The Country Women‘s Year. 1961 â€" 1962 President â€" Mrs. Maurice Bulman Secretary â€" Mrs. Rome Treasurer â€" Mrs. Coltman Mrs. Whitehouse attended Farm Safety Congerence as guest of the Federation of Agriculture. Picnic was enjoyed by the members and a visit to Serpent‘s Mound, The Foster Child Plan was adopted. An Oil Painting of a Canadian Scene by Mrs. Griffith "Mr. Dallison‘s Sister" was sent to Devon and a book again received entitled "Lady Denham". 1962 â€" 1963 President â€" Mrs. A. Morgan Secretary â€" Mrs. Rome Treasurer â€" Mrs. Coltman Entertained Wooler and York Road Branches. A motion was passed that the Institute Grace be sung before lunch at each meeting.
