Lorna graced the library with her wry smile, thoughtful comments, and unending discretion. Those who needed her help will remember she was ever helpful with patron : requests. 3 Lorna retired from the library and her last day was Thursday, Feb. 14. We | f regret that we and the many people she served did not have the opportunity to thank Lorna personally for all of her work on our behalves. But it was Lorna‘s * desire to retire quietly. We wish her well and hope to continue to see her _ smiling face as we wander about the community. Cramahe Township Public Library Board regretfully announces that Lorna | Houston retired from Cramahe Library last week. Lorna worked for Cramahe Township Public Library Board for eighteen years as a librarian, at both Castleton and Colborne libraries. She will be greatly missed by both staff and patrons. We thank her for all the wonderful service she has given Cramahe community as our librarian and we wish her all the very best for the future. : CEO, Cramahe Township Library Board Mary Norton As a member of Council and Viceâ€"Chair of the Library Board, I wish to acknowledge the significant contribution Lorna made to the community of - Cramahe Township in both the Colborne and Castleton libraries. 4." I remember how she stepped in and took charge of the Colborne library in the 52: ‘90s when the regular librarian became il, and the extra work and effort she put in when the library was relocated to the old Fire Hall .
