The plan supercedes the plan established in 2011. Many of the goals 7 set out in that plan have been accomplished. Cramahe Council voted on Feb. 12 to numerous shortâ€"term objectives. They 5 j include the reconstruction of Burnham, Park and Cedar streets and rural road s rehabilitation using the township‘s new ditcher/brusher. Landscaping will be planned for Victoria Square and Walter Eddy Park. The Heritage Room at the Castleton Town Hall is slated for improvements, and the township will do all it can to help speed CN‘s replacement of the Barnes Rd. bridge. The lift at the township offices, long a source of concern and discussion, must * & $ be replaced. Options for the replacement lift/elevator was discussed before the new ramp was built along the front of the building. ' ‘ , The former Lawn Bowling Clubhouse is also on the list for renovations. There C have been some discussions about holding the summer camp there. At the Keeler Centre corporate sponsorship is being sought for public skating times. The township will aso look into installation of solar panels on its roof. A trails master plan is also on the agenda, along with improvements to the § â€" Little Lake Beach area. The Retail Revitalization Committee has funding for plans to build that sector of the economy. Further growth in the Colborne Creek subdivision is being promoted.
