A bunch of kids would get together and head to the nearest ice surface, pick teams and play until it was too dark â€" or they were too cold. Weather permitting, the Castleton Sports Club is reâ€"living the experience on j Feb. 16 with the Castleton Cup Pond Hockey Tournament. There are four divisions and each team must have six players. Kids aged 7â€"11 will play in the Frozen Toe Division. Players 12â€"18 will enter the Young Bucks R group. Anyone aged 19â€"30 is a Hotshot. The oldtimers, 31 and over play in the f â€" Viagra section. : s Games are 25 minutes in length. There are no goaltenders or whistles. Teams 3+ play fourâ€"onâ€"four and make player changes after goals are scored. 4 . ig$ Players in the two younger divisions pay $35. They get a hotdog and drink and é a tournament keepsake. Helmets and full equipment from the waist down is mandatory The older players pay $45, and must wear helmets and gloves.
