In 2007, six female artists who had been gathering for years for weekly life drawing sessions were presented with the opportunity to spend three weeks sharing a villa in Rimitol, Italy. â€" "It was wonderful," Marcia Lantagne of Brampton recalled at the June 2 $ "Tuscany Revisited" exhibition opening reception at the Colborne Art Gallery. S ols ‘ The main room and one side room of the exhibit feature Tuscany works in various media. Some were completed onâ€"site, other completed or fully ; developed after returning to Canada. On a centre island, a sketchbook of "postcard" drawings and vignettes, candid photos of the Tuscany villa, the women, and surrounding countryside lent further introduction to "that time in Tuscany". Rena Sava of Oakville and Phyllis Gordan of Toronto were also in attendance. Patricia Singer of Mississauga and Karen Walker of Oakville were unable to join ' the group. | The exhibit also includes two gallery rooms with new works by member artists | of the Colborne Art Gallery.
