Catering Opportunity -- 2011 On January ll, 20]] we catered to the Oxford County Pork Producers for their Annual meeting. The meal was served at 6 pm. 80 plates were ordered and we charged $14.00 per plated. The menu included Roast Beef, Stuffed Pork Tenderloin, Mashed Potatoes, Corn Peas, Coleslaw, rolls and dessert buffet. Meat was purchased from Miedema Meats and supplies from McKay's Embro Food Market both in Embro. The Desserts were made by the members. Katherine Grieve and Marlene Matheson prepared, cooked and sliced the meats and peeled the potatoes in the morning. Laura Green. Marilyn Herman and Helmy Knoops worked the second shift with youth volunteers doing the busing of tables and washing dishes. Take out meals were prepared from the leftovers and distributed to members.
