Breda and Terry Baker Terry and Breda Baker. of Stratford, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today, May 27, 1995. Mrs. Baker is the former Breda Halls. Terry and Breda were married in London, ' England. while serving in the Armed Forces. Love and best wishes from your children and > grandchildren. TERRY BREDA BAKER We met at Bognor Regis in England during World War II. Terry was in the Royal Canadian Regiment ?om London, Ontario. Breda was in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force. Terry was stationed in England, Scotland, Sicily, N. A?'ica, Italy and Holland. Breda was stationed in England, Wales and Scotland. We were married on May 27, 1945. Terry returned to Canada in the fall of the same year. He bought a farm on the 9m concession of East Zorra. Breda came over on the Queen Mary on our ?rst wedding anniversary. The than had been the property of Robert Matheson and his wife Marguerite. That Farm was sold back to them in 1949. Then in 1950 we bought the Chester and Muriel Lupton farm, Lot 30, Concession 6, West Zorra, and farmed there until the fall of 1989, when the farm was sold to Robert and Joan Bean. We were blessed with four children. Deirdre and Michael were born on the ?rst fann and Gregory and David on the second. They are all happily married and we now have thirteen grandchildren, a true Baker's dozen. We celebrated our 50'" wedding anniversary at the Community Centre in Embro in May 1995. After living 10 years in our house in Stratford and enjoying a beautiful garden, we now live in a retirement home, the Grif?n Residence, Downie St., Stratford, Ontario.
