The 9]" Prince Edward District‘s annual meeting was held May 26, 1999 in the Hillier Hall hosted by the Hillier Branch founded in l9l4. Ruth Crawford was committee chair and along with many Hillier members worked diligently to ensure thesuccess of this annual event. Successful it was with approx. 70 members representing our 8 Branches. The hall was tastefully deco- rated with coral coloured geraniums and the tables donned with white table cloths for the 12:000’clock lunch catered by Tammy Lamb. We would like to thank Marshmans jewellers who kindly donated pens so that each member could jot down important issues. dates, names etc. during the am. and pm. sessions. During the morning session a resolution to change the Women’s Institute name prepared by Codrington Women’s Institute previ- ously discussed by each Branch in the Prince Edward District was turned down.
