Wilma McCagg, Prince Edward District president and registrar for the Art 84 Craft Sale was pleased to announce that over 4,500 people enjoyed visiting the booths of 250 vendors. All other committee members reported, and to their credit, favourable comments from visitors and ven- dots. A survey taken this year told us that the new spacing of outside vendors was an improvement. that our Visitors usu- ally come to the show from within a 50-mile radius and many people surveyed have been enjoying our county’s show for years. The August meeting was hosted by Joanne, who demonstrat- ed the art of decorating shopping bags. I hear that sever~ al of the bags were very skillfully done while others were not quite so artful.
