GILBERTS MILLS INSTITUTE HOST TO GO. PRESIDENT Mrs. George Benway was the hostess for Gilberts Mills W.I. The President, Mrs. Leland Doxsee, welcomed all. She was pleased to see so many out, in fact every member was present. Twenty answered roll call with an article from "Home and Country". Mrs. Ronald Benway had the Motto, taken from Ethel Chapman's book and all enjoyed it. Mrs. Roy Brooks gave the current events for the month. Mrs. Harold Cross was appointed as delegate to the Guelph Conference. Members were pleased as Guest Speaker, Hrs. Jordan, County President, to speak on Education. It was informative and something for all to remember. She thought the executive meeting will be held at Hillier this year and the District Annual at Consecon. All the ladies who had taken the Sewing Class had their dresses on. They had exhibited them at Summary Day which was held in the Parish Hall, Picton. Mrs. Clayton Carter had a contest, flowers and fruit. Mrs. Roy Brooks received the favor. Hrs. Carter, Mrs. Doxsee and Mrs. Hope gave short readings. The President thanked Mrs. Benway for opening her home. The hostess, assisted by the February Committee, served a delicous lunch and a half hour was enjoyed. ‘FEB, 1%? let row: Mrs. G.
