At some farms no hydro was used and horses their source of power° The homes were heat and tidy of simple structure with beautiful gardens. We visited the market at Elmira Where the people sold their produce. One could buy baking, crafts, fruit, Vegetables and numerous other articlesa Our tour continued on where we saw the only covered bridge in Ontario at West Kentâ€" rose called the "Kissing Bridge" built in 1881. Leaving there we went on to the Brov's Olde Town Village for an hour of shopping. The parking area was made so as to tie up the horse and buggy or park a vehicle. We left around 5:30 p.m. and StaFtEd 0“? long journey home. Supper was eaten at the Oshawa Shopping Mall. We arrived home around 11:00 p;m. ending en eXCiting day.
