I919 I920 Con't. MEETINGS An Organization meeting was held at Demorestville Hall on Tuesday evening March II, I919, in the form of a social evening with about 70 present. Mrs. W. R. Munro, Dis. Sec. gave a short talk on the origin and work of the Institute and organized the society. The following officers were elected. President - Mrs. Elgin Gorsline; Vice Pres. Mrs. G. Hough; Sec.Tres. - Miss Annie Richards; Dis. Director - Mrs. M. Howe; Auditors â€" Mrs. F. Gorsline and Mrs. W. Van- skiver. Date Of meeting to be the second Tuesday of each month. Twenty members and nine honorary members were page- ived. Games were played. Lunch was served and collection taken ammounting to $10.00 to go to the hospital fund. A special meeting of the Institute was held at the home of Mrs. Elgin Gorsline on Thesday VIaI‘Ch 25. The afternoon was spent sewing for the hospital, two suits of pyjamas and two night gowns being made. The Red Cross business was finished up and a report 0? same for the last three months was read. It was moved by MTS- G; Houah and Seconded by Mrs. D. Gorsline that we donate ï¬65.00 to the Picton Hosp- ital. ar meeting of the Institute was held at G. Hough on Tuesday April 9.
