Some of our members attended the sixtyrfifth Anniversary Luncheon held in Toronto and brought greetings back to us. In the Spring of this year we had a course on Hat Making and many beautiful hats were made and displayed at a meeting. In October of this year Chapman Branch participated in catering to the International Ploughing match which was held in Belleville. 1962 - 1963 President Mrs Thomas Lynn, lst Vice Mrs Howard Countryman, 2nd Vice President Mrs A.C. Dale, Secty-treas Mrs W.J. Woods. v Mrs Thomas Keilty, District President, gave an inspiring address with emphasis on World neighbourliness as in formation of Women's Institute ladies thinking of community neighbourliness. 1963 - 196A President Mrs Thomas Lynn, lst Vice President Mrs Burton Coulter, 2nd Vice President Mrs Donald Martin, Secty-treasâ€" Mrs W.J. Woods. The District Annual was held in Tweed United Church in May of 1963 with Chapman Branch catering to the dinner. A car load of ladies, including the District President motored to Peterborough to hear the Address of the A.C.W.W. President Mrs Geerda Van Beekhoff of Holland, in June 1963.
