i 75 at Vinemount meeting by BILL MORISON The ladies who attended the St. Patrick's Day Tea had a special treat when they were shown how to make bread dough roses of various colors by Marilyn Sutor of C'anfield. President Elva Weylie of the Vmemount Women's Institute made the introduction. ' Chise to 75 ladies were completely involved in making their .unusual craft usingg'bread slices, glue and other ingredients. Mrs. Suter had also set up an attractive display of her personal rose craft in the church hall at Rock Chapel using glass vases, fancy IPOttery objects, small or- namental chairs and baskets - and others. "The ladies certainly enjoyed making their owu rose craft," remarked Margaret Morison, who proposed a vote of thanks to their special guest. The ladies were treated to tea and coffee and sweet goods previous to the rose- making demonstration. After the demonstration N. there was a general "rush in buy all kinds of baked goods from the ever-popular bake table. - "I think the tea was very Successful," commented Elva Weylie. "As usual, everybody helped out with inaking it a good Institute project."
