oNnmo DEPARTMENT or AGRICULTURE WOMEN'S INSTITUTE BRANCH Toronto 2,0ntario, April 6,1945. Mrs. Angus E. Jackson, "Grand View", Bartonville ,Ont. Dear Mrs. Jackson: Thank you for your prompt reply to my letter tonoerning Miss Christmas and for the plans which you are making. These sound very interesting indeed. 1 am very sorry that I cannot travel with Miss Christmas and enjoy them as well. Miss Edith Collins 01' this Branch will be Miss Ghristmas' official hostess while she is in Ontario and she will travel with Miss Christmas. I am going to try to arrange for someone to drive them wednesday, Thursday and Friday while they are in the Hamilton, St. Catharines and Niagara Falls district. I was glad to have the date for your meeting settled and Thursday, May 5rd, will be very satisfactory. We will plan other meetings around this.date. in your letter you stated that you would invite the district officers and Institute members from Winona and Salti'leet to your afternoon meeting. This will be excellent. I should like to suggest that the enclosed list of Institute officials be included in the invitation to the afternoon meeting. You will readily understand the reason they have been selected, because of their positions. if I have omitted some whom you remember they should, of course, be included. Perhaps when I have given a little more thought to it there might be other names I would like to include. Not likely all of them will be able to attend but the majority are near enough to make it a possibility. I think they will appreciate the courtesy of receiving an invitation. ' If we can do anything to help to make your meeting a success please do not hesitate to ask us. Enclosed is a copy of the Federated News. On page 4 you will find a picture and the story about Miss Chriltmss. These are all the suggestions I can think of at present but you will probably hear from me again. yours '7er M' /y A. Clarke, perintendent .
