purpose and principles of the organization are stated clearly, since the whole movement takes its direction and its dynamic from these. How the Institutes have held to these fundamental objectives, at the same time directing and adapting their programs to meet the needs of the rapidly changing times, makes impressive reading. We have a record of study and action in the fields of special interest to Institute women: home economics, health, agriculture and other industries, citizenship, education and cultural interests, the preservation of local history and a steadily broadening concern for human welfare the world over. The story, we believe, indicates beyond question, that as the Ontario Women's Institutes celebrate their seventy-fifth anniversary, they are already launched on a program that promises to expand and deepen, a program equal to the challenge of the years ahead.
