Ruth had two videos for her program, “Partnering for a Healthy Community†and “Community Actionâ€. She also reported on the recent district meeting and told of the plans made for the district annual to be held on May 23, 1998. A workshop will be held to set up a Family Emergency Plan and two or three members will attend. Pauline Ryan agreed to speak about Yolande Gadouas at the Memorial Service at the district annual. Lunch was served by Valerie, Leah and Jennifer and they were thanked by Erin. MARCH 26, 1998 Thirteen members and twelve guests attended the March meeeting at the South Plantagenet Hall. Visitors included District President Frankie Higginson, Lookout Bay members and local guests. Tammy Lapensee of Vankleek Hill was guest speaker and she had a most interesting presentation on making chocolates. The members enjoyed making samples which they were able to take home. Frankie Higginson addressed the group re W.I. activities during the past year. A feature of lunch was a plate of chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels supplied by Tammy. April 6, 1998 The annual meeting at the home of Pauline Ryan was attended by thirteen members.
