An interesting and lively auction which was conducted by Leah Bradley, netted $169.70. Convenor Anne Nicholas taught the group to make attractive lace angels, a Christmas decoration to add to those we have made in previous years. Eileen and Janna served a delicious‘lunch. JANUARY January was holiday month. FEBRUARY 19, 1998 Valerie Reid welcomed thirteen members and one visitor ( Ila Lennox) to the February meeting. The president, Erin McBride, thanked Valerie for having us and congratulated her for the splendid job she had done at the shelter during the ice storm. The branch had donated margarine costing $42. to the shelter. Having received a letter of resignation from Anne Nicholas, the branch decided to send her a letter of regret and a W. I. spoon.
