Social hour 7-7:30 pm. and buffet lunch to follow. Guest Speaker to be Margaret Munro, The Provincial President. Invited guests to include former members who had moved away, the Prescott County District President, the Branch Presidents and our District Area Board Director - also our Federal and Provincial Members of Parliament and the Reeve of Caledonia Township. The invitations would be sent out on the new letterhead stationery. Plans were finalized for the lunch and Marie Wilkes is to be in charge of a skit entitled "Women Involved". Sue Hopkins, local Interior Decorator was Guest Speaker. Sue discussed the use of colour patterns and different materials to change the character of rooms or homes. A question and answer period followed. A motion was passed that in the future all new members will be presented with their F.W.I.O. badge after one year of membership and payment of their second year’s fees. May 17, 1988 - 73 members attended the District Annual Meeting in Cassburn United Church. Nine members attended from Sunshine. Pauline Ryan was the voting delegate. Ruth Proudfoot presented the Program Coâ€"Ordinator Report. In keeping with the theme, Waste Matters the Guest Speaker stressed the fact that we can control management of waste if we "Think Globally, by acting Locally". lO
