This award acknowledged them for outstanding dedication and volunteer service to Agriculture and Rural Life in the Community. Io‘1987-l988, Barbara represented The Fair District #10 as the Homecrafi Representative and over the 2 years she faithfully visited 27 Fairs in the District While District Rep, she organized judging schools for Homecrafis in the District and attended Yearly Fair Meetings in Toronto. Over the years, along with her duties, Barbara has managed to enter articles in various divisions like baking, flower; cmfis and took her turn at serving and providing pies for the Food Booth. Clippings and photos have been collected by Barbara and were a great help when a book was written on the 150th Anniversary of the Paisley Fall Fair.
