On Monday the Port Elgin Library will turn 102 years old. it is incredible how little has changed to the exterior otthe original portion otthe library. The surrounding area has certainly seen some changes though. The intersection of Goderich and Elgin streets is now of course fully paved and there are certainly more houses along Elgin.
