Hopefully it: will be the $1,000 winner. ‘ ‘Stained Glass Windows†travels to Toronto by Robin Russell The beautiful quill "Stain- ed Glass Windows“ was designed and handmade by Mrs. Doris Busheil oi Wingham. The front is made of light grey material with patches of red, blue. green and turquoise quilted in black thread to represent windows in a church. The back oi the quilt is com- pletely black. After winning first prize at the Teeswater Fall Fair. it went on to Durham. along with 22 other quills for the District 10 Fall Meeting of the Ontario Association oi Agricultural Societies. This District is comprised of 27 Agricultural Societies in Bruce and Grey counties. Fli~ teen oullls will compete in the Canada Packers Chamr pionship Quilt Compelition, This being the 10th year hi the competition. the lucky winner will receive 51.000 and her quilt will be pur- chased by Canada Packers for the nuilt display they have.
